We are CTRD

CTRD was established in 2004 with the aim to provide training, research and development support to farmers and rural communities in India. The organization works towards improving the livelihoods of farmers by providing them with access to modern agricultural practices, technology and market linkages. CTRD also conducts research on various aspects of agriculture and rural development to identify challenges and opportunities for growth in the sector.

The major role of CTRD is skill training coupled with business/enterprise incubation support through institution development of growers/farmers and niche market linked enterprise development in the domain of agriculture that includes horticulture, fisheries, poultry and dry flower. CTRD has facilitated credit infusion of around 4 crore and grant aid of around 1.22 crore in the beneficiary account of more than 7000 agriculture entrepreneurs. Thus CTRD is successfully related to Consultancy, Training, Capacity building, Promotion and Networking with the farmers.
